Straw 林水草

Multilingual singer-songwriter Straw Lim travelled through fifty countries in search of purpose — a journey behind her debut album Excursion (2019) — before returning to her roots with Pulang (2025), nominated for Best Album Production at the Music Boleh Awards. Its lead single "Home" fuses traditional rhythms with modern arrangement and took Best Overall Production at Short + Sweet Festival Malaysia. She has played Rainforest World Music Festival and Music Lane Festival Okinawa, and works on community music projects with marginalised groups.
