MIRROR MY MUSIC FESTIVAL 2026 — Official Statement: Postponement

MIRROR MY MUSIC FESTIVAL 2026, originally scheduled for October 24 & 25 at LaLaport BBCC, Kuala Lumpur, has been postponed due to the worsening haze situation in Malaysia.

Music has the power to bring people together, cross boundaries, and inspire new possibilities. But none of that should come at the expense of people's health and well-being.

For us, protecting the people who make music and the people who come to experience it is part of building a sustainable future for music.

MIRROR MY MUSIC FESTIVAL was created with a vision that goes beyond a two-day event. We aim to build a new music culture, connect artists and communities, and create new opportunities for the future of music — starting from Malaysia.

That vision is bigger than any single date.

This is a postponement, not a cancellation. New dates will be announced once confirmed.

To everyone who has supported MIRROR MY MUSIC FESTIVAL and looked forward to being part of it, thank you.

We look forward to the day we can come together again — safely, and with the same vision that brought us here.

Notes from the Organizer

About a year ago, Kotaro and Anna from IN2US came to me with the idea of creating a new Music Festival.

I had just one request for them:

“I want you to create a Music Festival that brings authentic music from Malaysia to the audience.”

LaLaport is a shopping mall, but we also want to bring something that can truly inspire people who are passionate about what they love. This Music Festival is one of the ways we wanted to do that.

From the very beginning, the core concept we discussed was to create a “Music Festival that reflects the latest music scene in Malaysia.”

We did not want to simply bring together well-known artists.

We wanted to showcase artists who could truly connect with people who love music.

We also wanted to shine a spotlight on artists who may not yet be widely known, but who have the potential to shape the future of Malaysia’s music scene.

This idea is at the heart of MIRROR MY MUSIC FESTIVAL.

What has brought this Festival to life is the tremendous passion and dedication of Kotaro and Anna, together with the wonderful artists and everyone involved who believed in this concept and supported us.

I hope this Festival will be a place where people can discover new music, encounter talents they may not have known before, and experience the “now” and the “next” of Malaysia’s music scene.

Most of all, I hope the music from the stage will touch the hearts of everyone who comes here.

Reflecting the “now” of Malaysia’s music,
and shining a light on its future.

I hope you enjoy MIRROR MY MUSIC FESTIVAL.
